January 1 – New Year’s Day Observance- All City offices and services closed
March 16 – “Shamroxville” Celebration – Multiple events, including a 1:00 Parade
Week of March 18 – Cemetery Clean-up – anyone wishing to save decorations should remove them before this date
March 24 – Easter Egg Hunt 1:00 pm SHARP – James Knox Park
March 29 – Good Friday – All City offices and services closed
April – 1/2 price residential dumpsters – call City Hall for details and restrictions – delivery dates Apr 5, 12, 19, 26
May 1 – Dog & Cat Tags go on sale at City Hall – due by May 31
May 22 through September 25 – Weekly Wednesday Farmer’s Market – 3pm-7pm – Central Park on the Square. Contact Kathy Walker 309-368-4030 to set up
May 27 – Memorial Day – All City offices and services closed
June 3 – Wheel Tax Stickers go on sale at City Hall
June 5, 12, 19, 26 – Summer Band Concerts at Central Park – 7:00 PM – bring a lawn chair.
June 7-8 – Citywide Yard Sales – start at 8:00 am – set up in own yard – contact City Hall to add your sale to the list – lists will be available to the public the week of the sale.

July 4 – Independence Day – All City offices and services closed
July 4 – Fireworks at dusk – James Knox Park (rain date July 5)

August 24 – 17th Annual Car Cruise – Public Square 4:00-7:00
September 2 – Labor Day – All City offices and services closed
September 20 – Knoxville High School Homecoming Parade 2:00 & Football Game
October – 1/2 price residential dumpsters – call City Hall for details and restrictions – delivery dates Oct 4, 11, 18, 25

October 19 – Lighted Halloween Parade 6:00p
October 31 – Trick or Treat 6:00p-8:00p
November 28 – Thanksgiving – All City offices and services closed
November 29 – Friday after Thanksgiving – City Hall closed – all other City services open all day
December 7 – Knoxville Christmas Parade – 4:00 pm * Note Time Change (to enter parade call 309-388-4323) Luminaries at dusk around the town square. Downtown businesses will be open in the evening.
December 24 – All City Offices and services closing at 12:00 noon.
December 25 – All City Offices and services closed for the holiday
